Stephen D. Mayer was born in San Francisco in 1954, attended Riordan and then U.C. Berkeley. He is currently the founder and managing partner of SD Mayer & Associates, located in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district.
Steve recently published three books: The Toughest Guy I Ever Knew, which is personal in nature, with advice on business and life; 5 Buckets, 4 Shovels, a Beach and a Map, which discusses financial security in a simple and easy to digest manner; and Adulting for Personal Finance, which focuses on all of the topics kids should know, but are often not taught.
